Nahil Mahmood is a cyber security leader with over 25 years of experience in information technology and cyber security with the last 15 years specifically in cyber security leadership roles. Nahil has the privilege of serving as the former Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in the financial sector, and has also formed and led a cyber security consultancy firm as CEO and Principal Consultant. During the ten years of running his own cyber security consulting firm, he had the opportunity to conduct over 65 projects for the financial, industrial, technology, healthcare, and retail sectors related to implementation of ISMS, security governance, cyber security transformation, security assessments, and implementation of security solutions.

Nahil is a Master Cyber Security trainer and has trained over 1000 persons in the last ten years in cyber security, and IT courses. Nahil also has the distinction of teaching two full University-level courses related to Information Security and Network Security. He has previously held leadership positions for Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), and Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP). Nahil is currently the Global Head of Cyber Security for Corvit Networks and leads and directs the cyber security programs internationally in seven (countries).

Nahil is currently based in Chicago (Illinois, USA), and holds several certifications and credentials in cyber security. Nahil was awarded the ISC2 Information Security Leadership Achievement Award (ISLA) in a ceremony in Tokyo in July 2012 for his contributions to the field of Information Security.
